Drilling Manager

Location: Tripoli,Libya

An interesting job opportunity with compensation very similar to US standards. Requires target oriented working methodology with high degree of judgment in planning and execution of drilling programme.

Scope of Duties:

Advise drilling engineering staff in preparation of drilling programs and review drilling operations.

Collaboration on Scope of work and Tender Process

Supervising contractor performance

Cost Controlling

Approval of conceptual and detailed well designs

Supervising on site-personnel

Providing management reports

Preparation of risk management and mitigation plans

Establish well site safety procedures and ensure proper application of procedures.

Requirements:

Degree: BSC or MSC Petroleum Engineering

Minimum 20 years experience 10 years in a leading function, such as operating company.

Previous experience in Integrated Project Drilling essential

Should have excellent command in English both orally and written

Must be able to adapt and work effectively in a multi –disciplined and multi-cultural environment.

Experience with North African and Middle East work environment and culture is essential

Hold a valid International ICWF (International Well Control Forum) combined Well control Certificate at Supervisory Level.

Qualifications:

BSC or MSC Petroleum Engineering.

Hold a valid Well Control Certificate at Supervisory Level of IWCF (International Well Control Forum).

Location:
Tripoli based, travel to the fields on regular basis

Work Experience:
Minimum 20 years experience 10 years in a leading function
