Draughtsman

Location: Field Based, Libya

Fully conversant with the use of AutoCAD 2002 and upwards Able to use layout and model space in the correct manner, also scaled view ports. Able to plot CAD drawings exactly to scale using layout limits. Able to utilize printers and plotters Capable of modifying existing CAD drawings utilising Company CAD Standards. Capable of producing PFDs, P&IDs, Isometrics, Layouts, Plot Plans and General

Able to plot CAD drawings exactly to scale using layout limits.

Able to utilize printers and plotters

Capable of modifying existing CAD drawings utilising Company CAD Standards.

Capable of producing PFDs, P&IDs, Isometrics, Layouts, Plot Plans and General Arrangements and when required, to visit Site and take accurate measurements.

Capable of working using own initiative with some knowledge of piping design, i.e. usage of valves, pipe fittings, etc.,

Able to work and produce drawings with minimum supervision and to deadlines.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Ordinary National certificate Mechanical Engineering Technicians (MET)

City and Guilds Advanced AutoCAD

Institute of Engineering Designers Assessment an advantage

Excellent command of the English language both written and verbal

Use of MS Office processing software an advantage

Vocational qualifications considered

 

WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum of ten(10) years’ draughting hands on experience within a working environment
